buying an egg instead of chicken isnt money saving

as my title says, buying an egg instead of chicken isnt money saving. think about it this way. in total from the day you first put an egg into the incubator, it will take 10 days before it will lay eggs. the eggs are worth 50g. 50x10=500, which is what you will pay for the full grown chicken.

Fishing

When fishing, the one with bigger shadows are more likely to be a fish. Try to get the bait in the middle of the shaddow before reeling the fish in.

Note: I recommend you use the the S. Fishing Rod

FREE MEDICINE!!!!!!

when ever your dog gets sick or you just dont want to buy medicin go to the brownie ranch that day or when its open and talk to bob(he has to be in the store)he well go to your house and give your dog medicin then leave! Then you dont have to pay for medicin!!!

Getting Started

All i know is when we start this game, gamer got only 10g and 2 bags of potato isn't?
1st thing i do is find any flower or other things on the ground and sell it to the stores.. Then buy only "Corns" because when u sell the corns to the stores, its price was three times the price of corn seed..
i got about 1820 at day 4 or 5..After that u can do what u want..

To have a horse you must first work at Bob's farm, to make it faster you can give him alot of sweet jams.
And if your working there ,you must choose the best horse you see before brushing it.(you'll get the first horse you brush)
Plus if you work ther and if you milk tha cow and put a feed in the barn
you'll have extra money
and you can keep the milk.

How to get Bob to give you a horse...

You have to work a lot, and give him a lot of sweets, (jam, homemade cake etc.)and a lot of work!!! If you want a certain horse, talk to and brush it before you do anything else. Don't talk to any of the other horses. Eventually, Bob will show up with the horse and ask you to train it. Say yes and he will leave it there. Take care of it, brush it, feed it, and talk to it. At first, it won't let you ride it. Build up it's trust and it will let you ride it. Then, it will begin to trot. Voila!

Keep Your Chickens Alive Longer!

All right, those chickens seem to get sick quite a bit, don't they? And it gets costly to replace them so often. My tip is as follows:

If you find a sick chicken, DON'T LEAVE IT IN THE COOP. Take it to your house immediately. If Bob's shop is open, go buy some medicine. If it isn't though, leave the chicken in the house. When you wake up in the morning, you can see if the chicken is still there (which it probably will be).

I don't know why this works, but I've had chickens stay alive for three days before! So try it out! You'll be glad you did.

money making

if you are finding it hard to make some money then try this. Go to brownie farm early in the morning and go into the farmer shop at exactly 8.00 (if you cant get it exact just get it near). Then ask for a part time job and you will go straight to the field. Milk the cow and you will get a small milk but then just stand around for the rest of the time. When it comes to 5.00 pm he will kick you out. He will probably say you didnt do a very good job but he pays you about 420G. Then when he finish's talking run straight to the tool shop before it closes and sell the milk

Moonberry

You can find the Moonberry at the back of the Cafe/Bar. It looks like a yellow potato or something like that. You can't sell it but it restores a whole lot of energy.

Moonberry

Every fall(Only), behind the Cafe there is a Moonberry. It's only there every other day. It needs time to grow! Sometimes, if it rains, it will delay it's growing, so you might have to wait another day. If you eat it, you may get some extra energy! But if you give it to a girl, they ~always~ get a heart. Plus, if you are doing an event, and you need to get them your friend faster. That's the way to do it! <33

More Blueberries

As we all know, a few blueberries are found at Maple Lake, well this is a place where you can get extra blueberries.
Trigger the "Sacred Land" event (Befriend Tim and train your dog very well.) Go to the far right portion of the land and you'll find more blueberries.

Sick chickens

I notice when your chickens get sick its only because you failed to feed them. I left my chickens outside in the rain and they didnt get sick. As long as you feed them and collect eggs everyday you will be fine.

When your dog is smart enough, he will chase you wherever you go when you call him (except when you're indoors). Use your flute to teach him tricks.

Sprites Little Messages

Ok when i was playing the game a found all of these messages in the game from the sprites! Ok here is were to find them!

1: look in the harvest sprites cave and go to the back of it and by the two pots at the back click X and it will show you a message!

2: You can find another harvest sprites meesage at the villa! got to the area that you get cherrys from in the summer by the villa and go to the back of there and press X and you will find a message!

3: Go to next to the flower shop and go in that spot were the harvest sprites play and by the grass back there press X and you will get a message!

4: Go to the cafe/bar and go to the spot were the red sprite plays and then go by the grass and then press X and then you will find a message!

Power Berry Locations
To get the Power Berries scattered around the land, look in these places:
1. In your pasture.
2. Visit the Harvest Goddess.
3. Visit the Harvest Sprites.
4. Go fishing.
5. Trigger the "Sacred Land" event.


How to Get the Dog
When you begin the game, you'll notice several stray dogs wandering around. If you approach them, they'll run away. To woo a dog to your yard, keep putting food in his bowl. Anything will do: grass, eggs, berries. When you place these foods in the bowl, they immediately turn into doggie mush. After a while, you will notice the dog appearing at your farm more and more. Keep trying to pick up the dog (X). At some point, he will let you pick him up, and he will be yours!

How to Get the Horse
To get the horse, you'll have to visit Bob's farm quite a bit. Do part-time work taking care of his horses and cows and give him lots of presents. Eventually, after a solid chunk of work (a season or more), he'll bring a horse to you.

Walkthrough

OK so, when you start the game you start off alone with a huge farm! First thing that you would want to do is grow crops and get your animals! You start off with 2 bags of potatoes. Go to Lyla's flower shop to get bags of corn, potatoes, tomatoes and breadfruit. When you decide you want animals the most popular animal to get first is a chicken! (buy your chicken at Brownie Farm for 500G)(or you can buy and egg which is much more money saving (put the egg in the chicken coops incubator). For a cow you have to go to Brownie farm and buy one for 2500G. For a dog you must put food in your dog dish outside your house for a dog to come there or you can find a dog wandering around the town. When you see a dog that you want chase it ! You will have to keep chasing it (X) for a long time until you actually get the dog! For a horse you have to do part time work at Brownie farm until one day bob shows up at your house saying he needs you to take care of this horse for a while.
To get the horse that you want you have to go to that horse first and that horse can only be the one you talk to !You can get a horse in approximately 14 days. (maybe a little more maybe a little less). From then on in you can do whatever you want to do!

Go and do the part-time job in the Brownie Farmers place. But don't do anything. After a while it will take you out of the Pasture area and Bob with tell you that you need to take your job more seriously and that you have earned 400G for your work. Yet you havent even done anything

How To Get The Horse

When you start the game, I suggest you go to Brownie farm.
If you press the "SELECT" button on your controller you can find where it is.
When you go to the farmers shop, talk to Bob. Go to: ' Part time job ' ask him what to do.
When you arrive at the pasture, look at all the horses.
Go to the one you like the most. Brush it, and talk to it.
Then talk and brush the other horses. Press R2 and press X to select the brush. Then, press the square to use the brush.
Same with the milker.
Then, go to his barn and fill the stalls with food. You can find the fodder stash in the back of the barn.
Put the fodder in all the stalls.
Then Leave Brownie farm you will get your pay from Bob when you leave.
( REMEMBER TO KEEP BRUSHING THE HORSE YOU LIKE BEST FIRST!!!)
Keep doing this for a season or so. Befriend Bob by giving him gifts.
You can look up what he likes.
Then, he will give you the horse you kept brushing first. Buy the brush from Louis for 800g (I think).
Talk to it, Brush it, and ride it.
When it will let you ride it, Bob & Gwen will come to your farm to check on you.
When it starts to trot, they will check on you again.

Once you get a dog to stay on your farm, you'll have to train him. To do so, use the following button presses in order to get him to do what you wish:
